The rides will be held at Bay Creek Ranch, (click here for a map) located on Cedar Grove Road 24 miles south of Harrisburg, IL, and 30 miles north of Paducah, Ky.  See map or call for directions.  Do Not use computer map programs. 

The campground is roomy and pleasant, with water & electric hook-ups, and high lines at each site.  Shower house, laundry, ice and dump station are available, along with a 5 bedroom lodge, dining hall, and tack & gift shop.  Pens & stalls are available at an extra charge.

You will ride through beautiful woods, rock bluffs, and creeks in the Shawnee National Forest.  The rides leave from camp after breakfast.  Guests pack their own luch to eat out on the trail, so don't forget your saddle bags!  Our rides are small and friendly, allowing more flexibility to accommodate different riding needs.  The trails vary from peaceful pine forests to the more challenging bluff areas.  Shoeing your horses/mules is recommended.

Wilderness Trail Ride Rules in addition to General Campground Rules the following will apply: No Rider shall pass the guide No rough riding on the trails No intoxicants on the trails No dogs allowed on organized rides, except by permission Horses/Mules that kick or are aggressive are required to have a red ribbon tied in their tail We do not refund or credit for bad weather conditions, or other unforeseen events, outside of our control. Riders are not required to ride with a guide!
