Enjoy the Beautiful Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois.
Open for Camping, Trail Riding, and Lodging Year Around.
Campground is also open to Bicyclists, Tourists, Hikers, Fisherman, Rock Climbers, and Turkey and Deer Hunters.
We have direct access to the forest, with no rain or seasonal closures, or group size limit.

All campers and day riders must check in at office and pay camping and lodging fees before setting up camp (NO EXCEPTIONS).
Have your Coggins papers ready at check in.

Primitive Tent Camping: $10.00 - $15.00 Per Night (no horses - no electric)
4 Bedroom Lodge: (click here for lodge floor plan) Rent Rooms or the Entire Lodge 2 night minimum stay during holidays
1 Adult - $35.00. 2 Adults - $60.00 (per night) Child to age 7 to 17 - $15.00 per night Child to age 6 - Free
Entire Lodge is available for a minimum of $180.00 per night (includes up to 6 adults)

All campers and riders must check in at office, and pay camping and lodging fees, before setting up camp, with the exception of permanent campers.
Overnight visitors must pay guest fee, and visitors riding from our camp must pay day use fee upon arrival.
Campsite: Check-in time is 11:00 a.m.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Lodge: Check-in time is 2:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. |

Riders must furnish and be responsible for their own horses/mules, tack, and property. |
|
|
Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed or tied at all times. Owners must clean up their dog's waste, and control noise. |

Stallions by permission only. |

|
You are responsible for your animals' actions, and behavior. You will be asked to remove disruptive or dangerous animals. |
|
|
Animals cannot be tied to trees, water spigots, fences, electric or utility poles. |
|
|
No private pens or picket lines allowed. |
|
|
No galloping or reckless riding in camp. Do not ride horses/mules on the grass. Stay on the gravel. |
|
|
Campsites, stalls and pens must be clean when you leave. Use muck buckets provided. We empty buckets daily. |
|
|
Keep campfire rings on the gravel, not on the grass. |
|
|
Do not throw bottles and cans in fire pits. Put all trash in the dumpster. |
|
|
We are on city water. No hosing out trailers, or washing vehicles. |
|
|
Turn off A/C when away from camp. |
|
|
Please be considerate of your fellow campers. |
We don't refund or credit for bad weather, or other unforeseen events outside of our control. We are not responsible for accidents to humans, animals, or property, including acts of God.
